So i got a makeover
A few friends suggested it after watching some crappy ass American sitcom. Not that i minded. All it involved was me shaving more often, letting my hair grow out a bit and ditching formals and sandals for jeans,tees and sneakers.
Admittedly i do look nicer. More compliments. Even from that cute classmate of mine.
Yaay me.
The 'best friend' noticed too. Said i looked 19 rather than 23 for once.Nice of her.
Then she kissed me.Not so nice.Considering that she has a boyfriend and i have 'the girl'(not that the girl and me are going out or anything but you get the idea right ?)
Confusing really.I have stopped talking to her for a week to think about what to do.Ignoring calls and messages from her is easier this time around.Maybe i can be a stone cold prat after all.
Speaking of stone cold bitches , i actually have friends in my class now. Loads. The trip that we took to kerala recently really got this groovy thing we have now going. Now when i make up in the morning i dont get that cold hollow feeling in the stomach thinking about college.Am not saying i get a warm fuzzy feeling either but it's somewhere in middle and definitely a improvement.
Feels nice to not wake up depressed.Almost as nice as eating maggi on a cold rainy day.
And yes Sania Mirza's getting married to this pakistani cricket player. Wazziz name.. i forgot. For some reason a lot of my friends and family members(including my dad... ESPECIALLY my dad) are unhappy. Mostly about the fact that her to be hubby is a pakistani. All possible profanities have been used regarding her sexual preferences, her mother's promiscuity ,her weight being compared to various dairy animals ,the sexual practices of various family members and it's effects and suggestions as to where she can store her tennis racket.
Very amusing really.
Sure even i minded initially. I mean hell it's paki-bashing , the favourite past time in my family.It's in my blood. But then after a discussion with mum and manky i realised it's not as though she is joining the Al-Qaeda is it ? If she wants to shack it up with him then it's her wish .I mean wasn't our generation supposed to be against arranged marriage ? And if we force her to choose her husband then it becomes a arranged marriage though on a larger scale. So go ahead darling do ya thing.
But remember-the day you start playing for pakistan THAT will be the day we start sharpening our swords.
Amen.
P.S to all those freaked by my last 3 lines- you seriously didn't think i was all fun and games didcha ???
