She seemed happy enough at the airport but the moment we entered the house she had this expression that my dad and me knew spelled trouble for us.
So we took a few steps back and waited for the volcano to erupt.
Mum*turns around slowly*: Is this how i left the house a month back ?!?!
Me/dad(together): Yes mum/dear...
Mum*at me*: Really child ?? Think ... was this how i left the house ? Isnt there ANY difference since past 32 days ?
So i decided to actually think about it-
*cue dream sequence*
A day in my life a month back-
I woke up on a clean bed and wore washed well-ironed clothes and then had a scrumptious breakfast. Over the course of the day i had 4-5 meals that were filling and nutritious. If i needed something it was available in the house and the whole place was all sparkly and clean like the ones on those annoying ads for that blasted 'collin cleaner'.
Yesterday-
I woke up on my dusty bed sheets and had a barely filling breakfast followed by 2 meals more meals through the course of the day none of which were filling in the least. NOTHING was available in the house and dust bunnies were all over the house and followed me wherever i went. The cheeky bastards. In short the place looked like a nuclear waste land.
*end dream sequence*
me: er no i suppose not
mum*hands me and dad broom*: right... now get to work people
ME and Dad: *sigh*
4 Hours later:
The house is moderately clean , the fridge is stocked full as are the cupboards and i had my first proper meal in a long time.
NOW this place feels like a home.

i never saw the colin Ads.. rather i have seen the colin jar's cover sticker a bit TOO carefully (from having to use it !) and it shows this sparkly house !
and the "mera laal" happens only in movies.. in real life she made sarcastic comments abot how me and my dad would die if she were away for extended periods and we should appreciate her more bllah blah blah .. :P

well whaddya know ! even i had it when i was in high school. and not just the tiny types it was full blown OCD.. the whole works-washing hands, cleanliness,hygiene and what not.
luckily i got it under control before it made me into a monica (from FRIENDS) !
